Iran is willing to reinitiate atomic negotiations with the United States on condition that it is handled with "respect" and "respect", Tehran's top diplomat has declared.

The Iranian diplomat said only diplomacy produced results, and revealed recent overtures had been made by intermediaries to resume discussions with the American leadership. The previous five rounds of negotiations between the United States and Iran were concluded unexpectedly and acrimonious conclusion on 12 June when Israel, with US support, attacked Iran's enrichment centers in a fortnight-long engagement that culminated with Donald Trump claiming the locations had been obliterated. Afterward, Western states used their privilege to reimpose international penalties, but Iran asserts they have not had a substantial consequence.

Iran's diplomats claimed they felt they had reached a "ideal resolution" to the nuclear fuel concern in previous talks, when it was agreed an domestic cooperative with US participation could refine atomic fuel. Both sides would have been able to declare success since local refinement would have continued and the US could be assured that Iran's nuclear programme was exclusively peaceful.

Our entire military infrastructure have been reestablished. We learned multiple understandings from this war; we have come to know our internal vulnerabilities and the shortcomings of the adversary."

He stated: "We managed to survive this conflict. Our enrichment knowledge, which they planned to obliterate, remains in place. The installations and equipment, if damaged, will be restored; what is essential is the determination of the citizens of Tehran and then the social solidarity that they sought to undermine, but were unable to destroy. The nation of Iran have grown stronger, more united, and more supportive of the government and the state in the face of this invasion."
